I always keep a copy of my original preload files :)
I've got a Russian key activated in steam but got the original English preload files, so I'm trying to get the game to English using your Updates.

d4rk99, are you using the retail/steam copy or the cloneDVD? If you got it working can you tell us how you did and upload the missing files?

Okay. It works. Russian key with English language, using decrypted v1 English language files using your updates sam2k8.

The only thing is that some ingame strings seem to be missing, but 99% is English.

Woot fov fixed :)
Im using Steam PreLoad(decrypted) and SmartSteam (Phoenix give error when you lunch the game)

I have the Eng cloneDVD, all the .ncf, CFToolBox, and Phoenix 1.4 beta 7

im geting this when starting the game

Error during initialization:
Could not load default asset 'mp/defaultStringTable.csv' for asset type 'stringtable'.
Tried to load asset 'devconsole_restrict_access_sp.csv'.


i dont know if the legit users has this folder
'mp/ folder with cvs
